Since 2020, Set Chevallier (FR, 1991) and Chloé Van Oost (BE, 1995) have been elaborating anticipation narratives marked by anthropology, design and science-fictional imaginaries. Their practice is anchored in a trickster, low-tech and environmentalist dynamic, using science fiction as a tool for artistic and curatorial elaboration.

The works proposed by the artists subtly mix several contemporary issues: management of raw materials, the question of technicality, the impact of human activity on metabolism, the relationship to the other and to the environment… so many themes infused within complex immersive installations. Following a four-month research project in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Set Chevallier and Chloé Van Oost will invest the residency space to complete their LUM project, a work of fiction in which the two artists question the practice of light therapy.
