Art historian, author and researcher in contemporary art, Clémentine Davin (1985, Lyon) assists personalities from the artistic world, and carries out research and writing missions on behalf of Belgian and French associations, companies and institutions. She regularly publishes art reviews in art itself.

Clémentine Davin will take advantage of her scientific residency to question the concept of emergence based on contemporary artistic practice in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and to try to reveal its foundations and evolutions.
At the same time, she will address its societal, economic and political implications. Through this project, she hopes to contribute to the writing of a more inclusive framework that would be applicable on the scale of the region studied.
